Fake news, folks.

Mindfulness 10-21-2022 12:23 PM

Didn't even watch the game last night, I was coding on freecodecamp and didnt want to stop the focus I had going on. I skipped the incubator spaces and NFT show too.

SGR 10-23-2022 02:35 PM

Carolina gave the Bucs a BEATDOWN

SGR 10-24-2022 09:27 PM

Can't say I saw that coming. Go Bears!

Plankton 10-25-2022 07:54 AM

Packers lost, Bears won. It's been a good week.

SGR 10-28-2022 09:56 AM

Well it's official.

Tom Brady announces that he and Gisele Bundchen have divorced

I have long detested him, and am tired of him completely, but I feel bad for Tom. Guess after this, you really can't question his dedication.

In retrospect, I wonder if he wishes he just retired after winning Super Bowl 55?

So that's why the Ravens won last night :D

SGR 11-13-2022 03:08 PM

GO VIKINGS!

The Bills can always buy a ticket to the Super Bowl. Third in their division.

SGR 11-13-2022 11:54 PM

Now this is what I call high art.

Plankton 11-16-2022 01:23 PM

Damn, we are already at week 11, the season's over in a month and I only watched 2 games so far on Amazon. It's a bigger bet win if you go with the titans but yeah Packers probably take it. Picking the Packers because Aaron Rodgers is cool

Titans offense sucks and Packers isnt that bad.

Plankton 11-16-2022 01:49 PM

There's a lot of people around here who'll pick the Titans purely out of spite, but yeah Rogers antics are genius, and they're the better team. I'm born/raised from Chicago and traditionally I'm supposed to hate the them, but don't tell me what to do. Traditions are just peer pressure from dead people anyway.

My dad is a big Bears fan who doesn't like the Packers but I never really had a favorite team but do like the Bears. I do like the packers too though since Green Bay is a small city. As a kid I grew up liking the 49ers because I was a big Steve Young and Jerry Rice fan.

Im pumped to watch the game tomorrow on my bedroom tv

Plankton 11-16-2022 04:11 PM

Yeah, 9ers used to be a dynasty with Joe and then Young. Good era for that team.

Mindfulness 11-18-2022 12:46 PM

Plankton 11-18-2022 01:03 PM

I'm ok with that too.

SGR 11-18-2022 02:01 PM

Rodgers is WASHED.

It's okay Plank, I know he's tormented your Bears for what feels like forever, but the bad man isn't so bad anymore.

Mindfulness 11-18-2022 02:21 PM

I thought the titans sucked but they were better than I thought

What gave you that impression? Titans have been a really strong team for a few years now. Usually, their weakness has been a weak passing game, so they routinely get exposed in the post season when they have to play from behind. Derrick Henry is a beast of a running back, but you can't just run the ball when you're down by 2 scores in the playoffs. If anything, it's the Packers that suck this season. They lost to the Lions for god's sake. I'm glad that we're coming to end of every talking head picking the Packers to go to the Super Bowl, at least for a while. Rodgers plays too conservatively in the playoffs and they almost always choke. Guy has only been to one Super Bowl!

that stat graph I posted from ESPN said they were 32nd in offense so I thought they'd suck but yeah that running back for the titans was hard for them to stop.

Bottom of the league in offense? How is that even possible when the Broncos exist?

I was a 90's Bills fan with Kelly and all that, but glad I don't live there. This has gotta suck:

I used to go to different stadiums for a few years in the nineties with my cousin and a couple of his friends (My cousin was a Raiders groupie but that's for another discussion  ). Anyway, Buffalo was one of the cities we went to, great experience, great fans, etc. Bills lost though (this was right after their glory era).

Plankton 11-19-2022 06:05 AM

I'm guessing it was an early season game. :)

rubber soul 11-19-2022 07:08 AM

Actually it was about this time and it was pretty raw. Slightly above freezing though.

SGR 11-21-2022 02:25 PM

The Chiefs are 14 - 0 against divisional opponents on the road - Mahomes has never lost to a divisional opponent on the road. Craziness.

SGR 11-26-2022 03:05 PM

Sam Darnold is FINALLY starting again, thank god, Faker Mayfield has been a COMPLETE DISASTER for this GREAT Carolina team, VERY SAD!!

SGR 11-27-2022 09:53 PM

The Panthers won because OF COURSE THEY DID. They started Sam Darnold after someone in the organization finally got a lick of sense and decided to bench phoney fraud Faker Mayfield. The triumphant return of Sam Darnold saw the Panthers obliterate the sorry sad sack team known as the Denver Unlimiteds (historically the Denver Broncos). It was apparent to anyone who wasn't blind that though their namesake may lead you to believe otherwise, this Denver team is in fact very limited indeed. What happened to that vaunted Denver defense? Oh yeah, that's right, SD14 was at QB and he absolutely ripped through it like butter. Bucs lose the next one, Panthers win the next one, and Sam Darnold is the starting QB of the team winning the division of the NFC South. This is what happens when you count only the legal touchdowns and not FAKER's mail-in touchdowns!

Tom Brady and the Bucs lose tonight - and the Panthers win next week - and SAM DARNOLD WILL BE LEADING TOM BRADY IN THE DIVISION.

Tom Brady currently has a 4% chance of becoming an 8-Time Super Bowl Champion.

That was a Christmas Day massacre. A performance so bad that the Waltons' decided to fire the head coach. But at this point, I think that Denver's defense just decided to give up. The amount of points they allowed was an outlier for the entire season - they've lost faith. It's not like the Rams have a great offense or anything, despite the fact that McVay is a talented head coach and playcaller. They lost to the Aints and the Cardinals after all.

Carolina wins this next game against the Bucs and their last game against the Aints and they're in the playoffs and have bounced Tom Brady. Tom Brady gave up his wife and kids to battle Sam Darnold to be the division leader in the worst division in football.
