I didn't come in here to hear about the NBA (which sucks) and MLB (which contrary to your dumb opinions doesn't suck).

I also don't want discussion of associate football, Canadian football, or any kind of football besides the kind played in the United States of America, a kind of gridiron football, with the biggest league being the NFL.

I'd complain about the discussion of NCAAF but that's perfectly fine under the thread's scope. An aside here or there is fine but jesus people.

So how about that New York Jet and his DUI or BRETT FAVRE BRETT FAVRE BRETT FAVRE

He's right, that discussion was slightly off topic.

Edwards DUI isn't a big deal, the Jets have zero integrity anyway, so they're not going to bench or suspend him. It will be the league that disciplines him if anything.

The fact that the Cowboys and the Minnesota Favres are 0-2 really makes this season worth the while!

It's embarrassing that the Jets team unveiled a new driving service for these exact situations only a few days before Edwards decided to drive himself. I haven't liked him since he's been on the Jets- he seems like a clown, and he's never really been all that productive (and it's not Sanchez's fault)- this just adds to the fact that he is an utter dumbass.

i'd say there is no way the blame for his numbers can't somehow be attributed to sanchez. if manning was on the jets, edwards would be a star. but he does drop a lot of balls and his ego is disproportionate to his production.

Yeah, you're right. I did sort of phrase that wrong. Obviously the fact that Sanchez rarely throws, and had a terrible completion % hurt his numbers overall. However, in the games I watched Edwards looked slow, wasn't great on routes, dropped or tipped up many passes for INT attempts. I'd say it's equal parts Sanchez, and Edwards laziness.

you may be assuming too much. what if edwards just isn't that good?
