Get out!

Interesting how our cousins north of the border suddenly appear in this thread.

Like adidasss pointed out. Had the goal stood we'd have been beaten anyway.
I don't feel the same as I have in past world cups when we've been sent home packing.
Previously, I felt that we were hard done to, mixed with a sense of bad luck, rather than a feeling of injustice.
On this occasion we got what we deserved...nothing.
I feel only disappointment and let down and a little angry at some of the vastly overpaid and quite clearly over rated footballers that wore the England shirt during this campaign.

2014 World Cup:

Gerrard 34 years old.
Lampard 36 years old.
Terry 33 years old.
Heskey 36 years old... oh dear.

A life without Heskey.

Maybe now's the time to put the old horses to grass and blood some young, less better known players and have them grow as a team over the next few years.
Isn't that what Germany did?
