I always had the garage sale edition of Monopoly, so of course some of the tokens were missing. Due to the missing pieces, I was always the scottie dog. But heck, it was only 25¢.

Who uses a thimble while sewing anyways? Or sews for that matter!

Tailors, quilt makers, seamstress, arts and crafts people, moms who have to save money. Sewing is a fine art. Don't be knocking it cause you can't appreciate the skill.

The monopoly we have has a money bag, so I usually take the money bag and the thimble, put the money bag on the thimble and call it a grandma.

No idea why but it always amuses me.

I wouldn't go as far as calling it a fine art but those people and professions are far and few. They will die off soon just like the thimble token in monopoly.
