26 days to go.

Blatter has admitted it was a mistake to play the World Cup in Qatar in the summer.

Most hated man in England, vile abuse at every ground in the country:

But then Becks drags us to the World Cup:

And then Becks gets his revenge:

David Beckham

Love that man.

Definitely. The 'world class' label is thrown around a lot and in my opinion too generously but David Beckham at his peak was actually world class.

The abuse he got after that red card was shameful. It actually reached a point where the press backed him ffs .

BBC SPORT | EURO2000 | SPORTSTALK | Was Beckham wrong?

England could do with more players like Becks who'd run through a brick wall for their country .

Suarez eek:

Luis Suarez faces race to be fit for World Cup 2014 after injuring knee in Uruguay training - Telegraph

Might miss the World Cup and even if he doesn't, he isn't going to be fit to play against us .

Brilliant news ffs .

Just checked the Cup odds on favorites. Not a big surprise, Germany and Brazil are favored with Argentina close at 4-1. I think Spain is a decent bet going off at 6-1. Almost worth throwing down 50 on them to bring home 300.

Was very surprised at Belgium being ranked so high also. Netherlands should be higher considering their recent success's.

Their group though... Spain, Chile, Australia... They will dispatch of Australia but the Chile game will be tricky.

& their squad wasn't particularly strong to start with & now they've lost Strootman & van der Vaart.
