Should be a good game. Hoping for a Portugal win myself. Nothing against America, I just like watching Ronaldo.

Phil Neville saying he thinks we can win. I will piss myself if Ronaldo flops again.

'Ronaldo territory' , his free kicks make me laugh, they say this every time, camera zooms in on his face looking really focused and intense, he takes a deep breath, does his stance, whacks it and it either doesn't clear the wall or it goes into row Z. His free kicks are such a myth, would love to see a shot/conversion percentage.

We can still win this imo just need to make use of the ball a bit better.

I have just seen one of the goals of the tournament. Jermaine Jones was not fucking about when he smacked that, it was not a joke, the swerve , the angle from in front of the goal where it bends around the defender .

1-1.

Tim Howard is having a stormer by the way.

Well we tied 2-2 in bonus add on minutes, but that should be enough barring an unlikely mathematical swing for Ghana or Portugal.

Portugal were toothless and didn't deserve to draw.

Any chance we see Germany and USA basically just play to tie? A draw guarantees they both advance. The US would probably be happy just advancing and not having to outgun Germany, and Germany would get to avoid Belgium in the round of 16 by finishing 1st. Not saying they'd both intentionally throw the game to end in a tie, but rather just play ultra-conservative in the hopes of that happening. I don't know enough about soccer or the World Cup to know if teams would actually do that.
