I think Germany will be a tough one to beat, but honestly think Argentina on this form could have done the exact same with that piss poor Brazil team.

Overjoyed here! Just can't believe this! Just can't! I still remember (and very clearly actually) that penalty shootout against the Italians in Italy '90; then we lost to the Germans 1-0 in the final game and I couldn't stop blubbing: I was a little lad: 10 or 11 years old in those days. It's been 24 years, and now we're there again
It'll be extremely tough on Sunday, though. Hugely difficult!!!

Happy for you Ivan, hopefully one day I'll know what it's like to see my country play in a World Cup final .

The vultures will be circling our Ron now , best defender in the World Cup and actually had the guts to take the first penalty even if it was a shit pen. What a set of shitbags Robben, Sneijder, Kuyt and Huntelaar are letting a defender go up first in a World Cup semi final and take the first penalty.

Totally unforgivable.

He got too big for his boots. Unacceptable stupidity on Roncrete's part.

And Garay has been the best CB.

He didn't, van Gaal said he asked two other players to take the first pen, they didn't want to so it had to be Vlaar. I bet he'll name the players once he officially leaves his role with the national team.

More like full credit to Vlaar for putting his hand up.

So I've watched very little of the World Cup and really the only thing that interested me that I read up on was the Suarez biting guy :P.

My life is so empty on the days with no football. How am I going to cope when this ends?
