So hit me with your tap kick. I'm going to grab it, trip you, and pile on top of you and pummel your face. And since Taekwondo focuses on standing and fighting, once they're on the ground they're done.

$10 says you get KOed by a foot to the temple in two seconds.

Not if it's a ****ing tap.

They're in the Olympics, not a street fight. Do you expect hair pulling and eye gouging? And I'm just gonna assume you've never been "tapped" by a taekwondo master.

You obviously know nothing about martial arts if this is your response. Stick to something you know.

I have been trained by people who are "masters" of karate and jiu-jitsu. They have also experienced the exact same thing dealing with "masters" of taekwondo.

I remember taking karate from legendary masters when I was a kid too.

Eh. I don't like using the word master. It goes against what I was taught.

I did taekwondo when I was a young and we never learned any "taps", I remember the first time I sparred with one of the older kids I got the living **** kicked out of me.

Fighting is lame anyway though and arguing over which form of martial arts is more hardcore than the other is equally lame.

I like to just beat the **** out of ugly people in the streets. Nobody cares about them.

As an ugly person myself, I agree.

Of course you didn't learn taps. My point is that the kicks feel like taps. Not that you learn taps. And don't I'm not arguing which one is better. I'm saying taekwondo sucks.
