Sports Cars
Sports cars, super cars, muscle cars, list your favourite cars here.
If I could own any car in 2016 it would be the Mclaren, probably the 675LT or the 570s, I don't need the power of the P1) Whether it's rock stars or cars, the British seem to get cool just right. Whereas German cars (Mercedes, BMW's) are like square boxes that lack imagination, and Italian cars are too flash, the Mclaren's body looks super cool, it would be nice to have that German engineering but...the Mclaren is one of the fastest cars in the world. The interior appaently is also nice and comfortable, unlike a lot of American muscle cars. However before you get your hopes up, it is a rich man's toy that most of us can only dream of owning. $350,000 approx. My number 1: Mclaren too bad the new top gear guy sucks, gave it two episodes. They should hire someone who knows something about cars. I love motortrend's head to head competitions!!! Last edited by William_the_Bloody; 06-12-2016 at 01:21 AM. |

That 67 Corvette is beautiful!!! I am a GM born and bred, so although I'd take a Camaro over a Mustang, it's hard not to love the Shelby and it's history. I've never seen that Shelby Concept Car before, but wow!!! It looks like something you would see off of a Buck Rogers episode. Fantastic shape! As for the Viper, planning to do an entry for it soon. Thanks for your contributions! |

And your mention of Lamborghini reminded me of another car that I can't believe I forgot to add to my list, my favorite of the brand and possibly the sexiest sports car ever produced, the Lamborghini Miura... 1966 Lamborghini Miura |

Dodge
I thought I would do something different here. Instead of going through just one sporty unaffordable car, I’ll take a company, start with the high end and work down to the low end. After all for myself I like a sporty looking coupe, but at the end of the day I don’t want anything more than a V4 in my engine do to the gas mileage. The sooner we get onto cheaper clean green energy the faster we’ll see a sports car revival in my mind. Anyways I love underdogs and what bigger underdog is there in the world of automobiles than Chrysler! So I’ll start with Dodge. Dodge Part 1: The Viper I confess this is a car I would not want to own, its interior is completely uncomfortable, its deafening loud, apparently has a crappy stereo, and its V10 engine is horrible on gas mileage. So why would you want to buy a Dodge Viper? You’d want to buy it because the improvements made for 2016 Viper ACR has resulted in it breaking the track records of other supercars for just a fraction of the price. That’s right the new Dodge Viper handles so well that it can take out a Ferrari, Lamborghini, Porsche, or Mclaren on the track, but instead of paying $500,00 dollars you can the Viper ACR for only $112,000 dollars with a regular Viper at $87,000. Of course being such an uncomfortable ride and poor on gas mileage you would mostly likely have it as a second car, so I hope you have an engineering degree. Sadly 2017 may be the last we see of the Viper...we can only hope it lives on. Did I mention it looks damn cool! |

I know next to nothing about cars, they've always bored me to tears. When I was younger my mates were into them loads and were obsessed with 'kitting' them up. Boy racer types.
Anyway they were into this one and I've always liked the look of this vehicle: |

Cool! I like it!
I get it if your not into cars. I grew up with a working class family surrounded by muscle type cars when I was younger, so that's where I get it from. There are a lot of people who don't like cars...some for political reasons, but for me the artistic craftmanship and technological engineering are amazing! |
