Four games in a row for Arsenal without a win...

One of the very rare weekends where I watch a football match that isn't Villa. Enjoyed that.

I think it's on lads.

God knows how we got out of jail against Liverpool today. I love the fact it was 2-0 when thousands walked out for their protest and 2-2 at full time.

How many walked out?

I'm not sure. Not a majority or anything but a decent amount of them. There were empty seats all over the place. Fair play to them, £77 a ticket is disgusting, but I still get a kick out of knowing they missed their team fall apart.

Great win for Leicester at the weekend. Man, I hope they win the league.

I still think they'll fall off to be honest. The pressure on them when it gets to the last month or so is going to be unreal. I remember reading about Roy Keane saying some of the MU players would vomit before big European matches. It will be like that x 50. Champions League football looks guaranteed now though.

If they win the league it has to be one of the biggest sporting shocks of all time. Absolutely unthinkable that a team can achieve this from where they were and the resources they have in comparison to the richest clubs. They are winning football back for everybody and they are doing it the right way.

They fucking deserve to be champions.

Arsenal are back in it if we beat the scum foxes.

Yeah, I feel Leicester will probably bottle it in the end too because their players aren't used to that kinda pressure. But who knows. I wouldn't have bet a penny on them doing well this season but there they are sitting pretty atop the league and playing beautiful attacking football.

I'd rather see Leicester win it than see Chelsea make the top 4 (haha, as if that's gonna happen, I know). But, yeah, it would be amazing if Leicester do it.

Favourites with the bookies now as well. Been a joy to watch, that match vs Man City is probably my favourite match this season, was cheering their goals as if they were Villa goals :laughing:.

I don't get the hate for Vardy, everyone thinks he's a twat but I think it's great to see someone rise to the top so late in their career. Bit like Rickie Lambert.

I had us pegged to go down before Christmas, and I tend to be one of the fans that manages to maintain their optimism the longest as the season goes on. I have to say I am starting to believe again though. It's still a hell of a ask but 3 points in 8 games before Sam, 20 points in 17 since Sam, 11 points in 7 games in 2016, numerous January signings that actually seem to be performing thus far and in February, a month where I would have us down to get absolutely zero points, we put in our performance of the season in a narrow loss to City, got a point from Liverpool and toppled Man United. I'm in no way kidding myself that we arent in an absolute scrap but currently we are showing signs of progress, while Newcastle, Villa and Norwich are imploding.

Thoughts on Yann M'Vila? Been a long time fan since he was linked to Arsenal way back when. Still having his medical apparently.

He's our best player. He's one of the very best midfielders I've seen at Sunderland, and one of the technically best footballers I've seen at Sunderland. He's way out of our league and I hope to God on a daily basis that when he says he wants us to stay up so that he can sign a new contract here that he isnt full of ****.

And also that temper of his I've heard so much about really has not been an issue at all.
