Hibernating till August.

Mr. Charlie 02-04-2016 09:44 AM

Four games in a row for Arsenal without a win...

Cuthbert 02-06-2016 07:46 AM

One of the very rare weekends where I watch a football match that isn't Villa. Enjoyed that.

I think it's on lads.

Mojo 02-06-2016 10:14 AM

God knows how we got out of jail against Liverpool today. I love the fact it was 2-0 when thousands walked out for their protest and 2-2 at full time.

Cuthbert 02-06-2016 10:21 AM

How many walked out?

Mojo 02-06-2016 11:01 AM

I'm not sure. Not a majority or anything but a decent amount of them. There were empty seats all over the place. Fair play to them, £77 a ticket is disgusting, but I still get a kick out of knowing they missed their team fall apart.

Mr. Charlie 02-10-2016 02:17 PM

Great win for Leicester at the weekend. Man, I hope they win the league.

I still think they'll fall off to be honest. The pressure on them when it gets to the last month or so is going to be unreal. I remember reading about Roy Keane saying some of the MU players would vomit before big European matches. It will be like that x 50. Champions League football looks guaranteed now though.

If they win the league it has to be one of the biggest sporting shocks of all time. Absolutely unthinkable that a team can achieve this from where they were and the resources they have in comparison to the richest clubs. They are winning football back for everybody and they are doing it the right way.

They fucking deserve to be champions.

Goofle 02-11-2016 11:43 AM

Arsenal are back in it if we beat the scum foxes.

Yeah, I feel Leicester will probably bottle it in the end too because their players aren't used to that kinda pressure. But who knows. I wouldn't have bet a penny on them doing well this season but there they are sitting pretty atop the league and playing beautiful attacking football.

I'd rather see Leicester win it than see Chelsea make the top 4 (haha, as if that's gonna happen, I know). But, yeah, it would be amazing if Leicester do it.

Favourites with the bookies now as well. Been a joy to watch, that match vs Man City is probably my favourite match this season, was cheering their goals as if they were Villa goals .

I don't get the hate for Vardy, everyone thinks he's a twat but I think it's great to see someone rise to the top so late in their career. Bit like Rickie Lambert.

This is the shit films are made of.

Mr. Charlie 02-11-2016 12:59 PM

I don't get the hate either. I think he's ace. I mean:

'Nuff said.

Newkie 02-13-2016 07:34 PM

So, yeah. Gotta be the season Newcastle finally go down (again?). Huge shout for worst manager of the year.

Cuthbert 02-14-2016 02:33 AM

Newkie

Glad to see you back posting. Villa, Norwich, one of Newcastle and Sunderland. Worst time ever to drop from the Prem.

Cheers mate, yeah has been a while!

Well done to Arsenal, cracking match and it certainly makes things interesting.

Spurs for the title?

Goofle 02-14-2016 08:16 AM

Looking back at the quote in your sig :)

Cuthbert 02-14-2016 09:41 AM

Villa stay killing my enthusiasm for the sport. Thank fuck we have the Euros in the summer.

I hope Lerner's next shit is a hedgehog.

goodfoot 02-14-2016 11:38 AM

...Before atmosphere at an old firm at Ibrox, Rangers fans givin' it Lalldy, this taken from an Italian ultras site ...

Cuthbert 02-14-2016 11:59 AM

I've seen it mate, it's actually one of my favourite videos on Youtube. There is one vs Derby in a pre season game of them singing Follow Follow then 10 German Bombers which I like as well.

I've got a lot of respect for Rangers. I wish English clubs had decent songbooks but it's pretty much Sloop John B and 7 Nation Army.

Check this out. After Brazil got spanked 7-1, they took over that restaurant.

See, I set you up nicely to give me an updated one :thumb:

Goofle 02-14-2016 04:24 PM

Ramsey is the best CM in England. Unreal player.

Newkie 02-14-2016 04:53 PM

Haha top memory!

He was easily one of your worst players on the pitch today though.

Plus, you'd have won the league already if you'd bought Suarez...

goodfoot 02-15-2016 08:44 AM

Yes i'm a Bear......

I had us pegged to go down before Christmas, and I tend to be one of the fans that manages to maintain their optimism the longest as the season goes on. I have to say I am starting to believe again though. It's still a hell of a ask but 3 points in 8 games before Sam, 20 points in 17 since Sam, 11 points in 7 games in 2016, numerous January signings that actually seem to be performing thus far and in February, a month where I would have us down to get absolutely zero points, we put in our performance of the season in a narrow loss to City, got a point from Liverpool and toppled Man United. I'm in no way kidding myself that we arent in an absolute scrap but currently we are showing signs of progress, while Newcastle, Villa and Norwich are imploding.

Goofle 02-16-2016 09:05 AM

Thoughts on Yann M'Vila? Been a long time fan since he was linked to Arsenal way back when. Still having his medical apparently.

Mojo 02-16-2016 09:29 AM

He's our best player. He's one of the very best midfielders I've seen at Sunderland, and one of the technically best footballers I've seen at Sunderland. He's way out of our league and I hope to God on a daily basis that when he says he wants us to stay up so that he can sign a new contract here that he isnt full of ****.

And also that temper of his I've heard so much about really has not been an issue at all.

Cuthbert 02-17-2016 01:58 AM

Anyone see Ronaldo's comments about Messi's penalty?

"I'll be short and precise. I know why Lionel Messi did that, and I'm not going to tell you. Nothing else. Think whatever you want."

He thinks he was boosting up Luis Suarez's goal tally so he beats him to the Pichichi :D

Riberry 02-17-2016 04:55 AM

Didn't see the comments. But Messi did an excellent goal into that match.

Kills me to say it but you lot are safe. I despise Allardcye as a person but he's much better in a scrap than Schteve. He's better full stop really. It'll be us, Villa and one of Norwich/Swansea. I mean, unless we sack Schteve and bring in Mourinho..

Just type it into Google, the Independent reported it. Ronaldo came out with that, also said Neymar/Messi/Suarez might not necessarily have a great relationship as is portrayed it's just the stuff the media write. Then he said who has scored more away goals than him since he arrived in Spain, then said "Nobody. Goodbye" and stormed out.

Barca lads must be laughing their cocks off. He takes the bait every time.

Cuthbert 02-23-2016 10:06 AM

Will be a mad ting for Arsenal tonight

Barca win, BTTS imo.

Mr. Charlie 02-23-2016 10:15 AM

Is it on ITV?

Goofle 02-23-2016 10:24 AM

Bt
