I just hope that it's a blip and not another run with us losing our top 4 place. Bouncing back against Liverpool on Tuesday would be great but I have a bad feeling about things.

I share those thoughts. I just feel that they look a bit tired and now with Ashley out for the game against Liverpool that can't help our causes, although he has been quite below par lately. Gabby needs to put a ball in the back of the net as well, yeah he got a goal against United but he has just not hit challenged the keeper enough with shots, especially the last couple games.

We need a centre back, but no need to panic buy. Just buy a centre half with a lot of experience (late 20's) for the short term.
Fergie has a habit of doing this with players in the past (Larrson, Blanc, Sheringham etc) until the right player is available.

Saurez would be a dream come true for United. I've been watching him on ESPN and he's incredible.
Suarez will have the biggest window in the world in which to show his skills off in WC2010, only problem is that other clubs with bigger budgets will be after him.

I wonder sometimes about some managers, I mean two prime examples,

Rodallega and Diamanti, how can you put these two guys out on the wings, they need to be upfront and an immediate change can be seen as soo as they are put up front. so why waste time keeping them out wide? Well that is if Diamanti is even starting, which most of the time he is not.

Thankfully for Wigan, Scotland is keeping a seat warm on the bench for Hugo to fill once he has scored a few goals.

Chelsea scrape 3 points at the bridge to a very competent Fulham. Peace to Joe Cole!!!

Good to see Mancini's getting off to a winning start,we could salvage 4th place yet.

Its always amazing, how when one manager goes and another comes in, a non winning team becomes a winning team with the same players still available! Hughes-draw after draw and conceding, Mancini-2 wins now and not conceding. After just 2 matches he is now justifying his appointment.

With the demise of Liverpool this season, 4th spot seems to be open to at least a dozen sides now including Liverpool but I fancy Tottenham for that 4th spot. It seems that these days, the race to finish in 4th spot is more exciting than who actually wins the league

There`s a possibility that both Swansea and Cardiff could come up, its highly unlikely but quite often football throws up unlikely scenarios.
