I agree with him in a sense, it was dubbed an overhaul by the media but hardly any important players have been dropped. It's still the 'golden generation'

Terry/Ferdinand/Lampard should get the axe, suggestions that Rooney shouldn't be anywhere near the team are a fucking joke.

If thousands of fans are going to be so naive as to say 'Rooney is our only hope', and then turn on him when he let's them down, that's their own stupid faults.

Rooney definitely deserves another bite of the cherry here. He's proven he can do well at international level countless times before, and if it weren't for bad luck he could easily have scored against he US and Slovenia in the world cup.

Massively disappointed with the squad overall though, and there being only three new caps. It's a friendly for fucks sake - even if they're not gonna feature in the qualifiers, give as many new names a as you can.

Havent made a league yet mate as im waiting to see if its worth it. Once three people commit (three has to be considered the bare minimum really) then ill make a league and probably a seperate thread.

With the resignation of Martin O'Neil, I am already preparing for a mid table battle this season. I don't see us cracking a top 6 again, probably 9 or 10. FML!
