Fabregas would be a really weird signing for United. Not needed.

lol?

Giggs - Ancient
Fletcher - Been out for two years, with his arse intact he'd be good but not at the level he was in 2009
Jones - Better at CB
Carrick - Good but getting on a bit
Powell - Played about 3 times for them and is totally unproven
Anderson - Overweight, hot & cold player, mostly cold

Yes Diouf is still at Leeds, he'll be bench warming this coming season if he's lucky. I agree he is/has been a despicable wanker in his time, he cant half hold a ball up though. He came in handy last season whilst we were playing Neil Warnocks nasty brand of prehistoric hoofball, but I'm pretty sure we'll be playing football this season so I cant see much use for Diuof anymore. You can get 6/1 on Leeds getting promoted this year, not bad odds if you ask me.

I'm not really gutted as the chances of us signing any real young, english talent under this regime are next to nil. If we have any competition apparently we can't compete with anyone, perhaps Swansea and Norwich have bigger gates than us...

Yeah, Diouf never really lived up to the 2002 WC when he and Papa Boppa Diop (the Man Mountain) made their entrance. But if they can do a job you have to try and put up with them.

6/1 isn't bad actually, the championship should be good this year. I guess winning it might depend if Leicester or QPR splash any more cash in the summer because they'd be up there then. Be interesting to see how Brighton do without Poyet too and whether Billy Davies can finally break his/forest's playoff curse.

Who would you say favourites are?

Nurse Duckett 07-16-2013 01:19 PM

If Redknapp can sort QPR out I'd say they are favourites. All depends on signings doesn't it, so I suppose that means Leicester will be up there somewhere come May. After those two I think there's 6 or 7 clubs that will fancy their chances, Leeds ( I'm slightly biased obviously ), Reading, Brighton, Watford, Wigan, Bolton and I'm sure there's a few more. I hope Davis doesn't get Forest promoted, no other reason than I just love seeing them fail.

Cant wait for the Sheff Wed game, 90 minutes of you're peado songs to Dave Jones haha. I loved it when he called all Leeds fans vile animals last season.

Newkie 07-16-2013 01:34 PM

Yeah, that's why I wouldn't bet before the start of the season really, so much can change with the window. I agree on some of those teams but imo Watford will be ****ed with the new loan rule, Wigan have lost some of their best/could lose the rest of their good players and Bolton don't look anything special to me. I'd like to see Boro give it a good go too, the less london/S east clubs the better.

This is what I mean, i'm not sure what people expect when they let your lot know that you're doing a good job of winding them up

Can't believe how badly Birmingham City have fell off tbh.

Yep, and yet he is actually still their most successful manager in their history (serious.)

1 major honour and European football.

:D

^ haha

I've always thought it must be so terrible to be a Birmingham fan, have they always been shiit? They have haven't they. How any football club could give Mcleish the managers job amazes me, I nod off during a 20 second interview with him.

I hope the songs sang at the Cardiff/Swansea games next season are disgusting, Sky hate it dont they. Lots of " Gary Neville is a wanker" please.
