Agreed mate, maybe an attempt to re brand the club in the Premier League.

Southampton - Historical Football Kits

Class. & I was wrong about the socks/shorts, other way round haha. Knew one was white and the other was black though.

Plus when did complaining to refs change their minds?
Yeah but in the entire history of football have you ever seen that happen? Anyway the blind ****er was standing right behind Gibbs: he could see there was no way it could have been him. Once he was told --- he could have confirmed this with other players --- he should have called Gibbs back and admitted his mistake. Now the guy is out for three games and he did nothing to deserve it.

The fact that the ref was seen to be wrong has been borne out in the result that he has been recused from any of the last remaining Prem matches.

Today's match was the polar opposite of how our matches usually go. We started very well then it all went downhill. Usually we start slow and chase games.

We are fine though, no danger of going down.

Yeah, much better to start slow and then explode later or even near the end. Look at Newcastle: last effing seconds!

Yeah but we're safe though. Still, aren't you tired of breathing a sigh of relief every season as we survive? Shouldn't we be more aiming for mid-table more of the season? You'd think the sights would be set higher...

It doesn't happen cos refs absolutely never back down to player power under any circumstances. If they did I guarantee somebody would have thought of doing this before -- everyone piles on to the ref to make him doubt himself in an attempt to stay with 11 men.

Once he's made the call he's got to stick to it.

The solution is video replays with each team being given 3 appeals per match. Arsenal could have used one then, sorted.

As far as I'm aware, you can appeal under mistaken identity, Arsenal will appeal and it'll be rescinded with The Ox taking the card and ban. Gibbs isn't going to miss another game over this farce, I know the FA are stupid and inconsistent but not this stupid and inconsistent surely.

Villa should be aiming for top 4. Not this season and not next, but that should be the long term goal. Made slightly easier now because of the fact the winner of the Europa League qualifies for the following season's Champions League so potentially England could have 5 spots.

I don't like the way the qualifying places are awarded for the Europa though, 5th place then the other two go to cup winners/finalists if they didn't finish in 5th? Should just be 5th, 6th, and 7th places like always ffs. Theoretically you could finish 20th in the Prem and win the FA Cup/League Cup thus qualify for the Europa League, win the Europa League the following season and get relegated again to League 1, then be in the Champions League .

& the North Stand will be getting rebuilt very soon as well, capacity increased to 51k.

One on the left. Brilliant.

You're in real danger of losing that 4th spot to Everton Goof.

Moyes: "“But I don’t think tonight was in any way a lack of effort or lack of commitment from the player."

Hah! Which one, Davey??

Come on though: how much longer can he keep playing this "time to settle" card? He's been in charge since last July. Even with breaks that's still close to a year as manager of United. I don't really think he can keep saying give us time, it won't happen all at once at this point. I think he needs to recognise that something (a few things) need to change. Reining in Fellaini on those deliberate fouls would be a start. And who deputises for RVP when he's out: Rooney? I don't think so.

I think it's funny and ironic the way things have switched around. MU always looked down on MC as their "noisy neighbours" and now Moyes is admitting that United need to emulate City and get to the level they're at.

Ah, what a difference a year makes, eh?

Nothing will change. They wanted an Everton manager and they got an Everton manager. They actually have the best away record in the league apparently, he just sets up not to lose.

They said once Rooney and van Persie are back it'll improve and it didn't. Signed Mata and have turned him to shit too.

His comments have been defeatist and baffling from day one. Completely in awe of what's happened.

There will be a banner during our game on Saturday flown over Old Trafford by aeroplane saying 'Wrong One: Moyes Out' due to the heavy security presence surrounding the Chosen One banner.

Here's a pic of one fan trying to go at Moyes last night.
