and to top if off shawcross catches the ball between his arms in the box with no handball awarded.

no excuse for a result like this in all honesty, but there's also no excuse for missing that many calls in game either.

As for Rooney, love him or loathe him (I'm the latter) it's a big achievement. England and MU all time top scorer.

i hope that now that he's accomplished this he'll be ready to step down. love what he's done for club and country over the years, but he's well passed it and both would benefit from using the spot for someone else. not sure if he would consider MLS to finish out his career, but surely he could still be a valuable asset to a lower tier prem side.
