Gomez looks a real talent. Very skilful.

Season is over for us already. I don't know what we've done to deserve this. I transferred to Villa about six years ago, and I am sick of us being diabolical. Since I signed we are just gradually getting worse.

trying not to be bitter but the first Stoke goal was clearly offside and we lost our final attack due to Wimmer diving in the box and pretending to be hurt. drop balls are ****e.

this right here is why Martial is still one of my favourite players. so much untapped potential still there it's unreal.

welp, i was about 7-8 spots off where Palace will end up finishing. new manager will most definitely be brought in shortly.

the upside to this is Benteke and Zaha will almost surely leave in either January or next summer. would love to see Big Ben head to Everton.

he will be left in the dust with the depth at attacking. Lukaku, Mertens are class and Origi and Michy aren't far off from Ben. i think he just becomes unmotivated too easily and when you're playing for a team like Palace that can't build up to a goal affectively or even send in nicely placed cross for him to head home he doesn't stand a chance. I think his best performances come when he has creative players alongside him, Zaha and Townsend aren't bad guys to have moving forward with you but even then Palace aren't exactly gifted with depth in the midfield or defense.

his stock is definitely dropping though, it would be sad to see him playing in the Championship imo.

Any thoughts on Handshakegate? I think Mourinho is an ignorant prick. No, he doesn't have to shake, but to be so blatant about it, shaking hands with virtually everyone else, making the point. Mind you, Hughes's face was a ****ing riot!
