England Belgium should be
I'm OK as long as England don't lose.
The way this whole thing is set up seems to encourage fans to approach it like bitches who are fine with ties. At least American sports championships don't put up with that ****.

We're not "fine with ties".
Three draws would pretty much guarantee a team is knocked out.

England don't need to win their third game because they won the first two.

Bitch ****. You should be fin to punch a Jew in the throat if they don't win every game. And why the **** even have ties? Why not have overtime like real men?

They do.

In the group stage it's eight groups of four teams, three matches each. 3 points for a win, 1 for a draw, 0 if you lose. The two teams with the most points after the three games proceed to knockouts.

In the knockout stage if it's a draw after 90 minutes there is extra time (30 minutes) and if it's a draw after extra time then it's a penalty shoot out.

We aren't in the knockout stage yet. We are in the final round of group games.

Can't believe I'm explaining this.

Dude

NFL teams play half ass when guaranteed home field or eliminated

And the NBA? Have you watched the two or three weeks following the ALL STAR game. It’s the most lackluster bull****. In the NBA half the teams make the playoffs. Popovich openly admits he’s resting healthy players. Teams often just coast for a 4th place regular season finish. NBA teams even play half ass in the playoffs when they figure they can’t win on the road or can’t win at all. You ever heard of “Cancun on 3”?

The Sixers tanked back to back SEASONS for draft picks.

So don’t front like American sports don’t pull this ****.

Read Ball Four. ****ing baseball players who don’t even run to first base. Drunk on the field and on and on. Mathematically eliminated with 30 games left.

****.

Not to mention college teams that don’t even want their bowl game or go to the NIT

Group Stage is just like “regular season” and American sports are organized in a similar way. We have an obsession against ties buy American football overtime boils down to just luck.

Soccer fans understand that one point for a draw in group play is reasonable at that stage in the tournament. And in fact the NFL does accept ties in the regular season after 15 minutes of overtime. And they change the damn rules ever year.

Thoughts on the Argentina game then? This is the one I've been most excited for other than England/Tunisia.

3-1 Argentina. Can't see them keeping a clean sheet but should finally score a few.
Messi hat trick.
