You have Seconds of Pleasure! I don't hear too many people mentioning Rockpile. They were probably one of the most underrated band from the UK. Too bad it didn't work out for them.

Some albums I heard and others I didn't, a few of them I don't recognize.

Iv been collecting for a while. Less collecting because they dont sit there, they all get played.

As to the sound, isnt necessarily better, its just different. Anytime you listen to something on a new medium there will be a different sound. It is just another way of recording and playing music.

My biggest problom is the prices of new viynls. All I have are older ones from the 60's and 70's.

I've been collecting only a short while; month or so, since I got my 1st player, an old JCPenny's front loader. It's pretty neat, like a CD/DVD player how it opens. But just today I bought something a bit better for the JCPennys one has a bit of a hum that's somewhat annoying.

Someday I hope to get one of them expensive players and get a receiver for it.

I have a decent record player. Need to get a new needle, though; mine's about worn out.

I've got a couple of stacks of vinyl. Plus, my best friends with whom I'm about to move into an apartment also have pretty nice vinyl collections. We're going to keep them sort of separate to avoid confusion, but all the same it's going to be nice to have that much vinyl to listen to.

I do collect vinyls. I do occasionally spend good money on very good quality stuff and record stores. But, mostly I pick up stuff at garage sales for quarters and I've found some pretty cool stuff that way.
