My mobile phone fell in the sea once and never worked again. Was this cellular damage?

Well it wouldn't be specifically cells, this is jsut what I read, but im assuming brain cells would rupture. No playing the harmonica probably has no where near the same risk. I play it as well, and the air taken to make a harmonica sound and a trumpet are much diffrent.

I play the trumpet in band. I play the snare marching though. It's fun, but it makes your lip numb after about 2 minutes of playing.

Good. The harmonica can be dusted off without fear for my health then.
