yeah, that was the problem i had with it, the neck was really thick compared to what i like. both the ibanez that i bought originally and the ESP that i got recently have much thinner and faster necks, the esp especially. the one thing that i liked betterabout the ibanez was that it had a flatter fretboard, which seems to work better for me and the style of music i play.

as for my esp...im not positive but it may be one of a kind. if not...well....for 500 bucks it was a steal because the list price on one of the production models brand new is about 4 grand, so i scored.

I have an Ibanez Ergodyne Model EBD690 with the active elctronic.
I also have a 76 Fender Music Master Short Scale.

Beings everyone else is posting their guitars too.

Here is all of them, the music master is peeking out from behind the 83 Ibanez Roadstar II.

I rarerly sell anything... The Roadstar was my second guitar I traded a Fender Squire Bullet for, the Lotus and the Strat were my grandfathers and I got them when he died about 8 years ago.

PTS, I have an Ibanez SA160. It was my first guitar (got it for free from a friend) and it was quite ackward going from that to the Hellcat. My guitar teacher has a Schecter American made custom shop guitar. It is like 10 years old and looks killer. Transparent blue finish and you can see the grain on the wood.

sounds like it looks just like my guitar. which means it is killer.;)

Meh, it has weak tuners, low output, and no floyd rose. I don't really like floyd roses but I would like to have one just for fun and not having to ever tune it. Oh and it is so much lighter than my Hellcat.

well...while you say you want a floyd rose because you would never have to tune it..there is one problem. changing and tuning new strings is a b*tch.

Friend of mine says the same about the Floyd Rose. I haven't been much impressed by it. Seems like is more hassle than it is help.
