There aren't any. My approach to using chromaticism is to play the minor and base my playing on it, but whenever the sound of the tune allows, to run past random notes that aren't in the scale, ending on one that is. It makes it harder to tell where or when the run stops.
scale wise in GENERAL, I recommend learning your modes, and your harmonic minor.
