No really, just put it back. Despite the few regulars that venture into this thread who play guitar there are, and have been people that have talked about other instruments. Namely ones not used in fucking rock or metal.

Here's a helpful tip that may keep your panties relatively untwisted in the future:
Mistakes happen when modding. It can be something as simple as clicking the wrong check box or not noticing a particular setting is selected.
There are a lot of different tools that are used in different ways, and out of the thousands of administrative events that occur, one or two of them are bound to be in error.
So, thanks for letting us know there was a mistake, but there's no need to freak out.
Just shoot us a PM if you come across another apparent mistake.

We'll try to keep mistakes to a minimum while we hammer out the details of achieving perfection... ;)

Well, I have a lot of ****, but my most exciting new piece of equipment (aside from my new Schilke S22 Bb Trumpet which is fucking awesome btw) is my Maschine Mikro. This is my first piece of hardware for electronic music production and so far it's been absolutely baller. The software that comes with this is amazing. The stock sounds are fantastic and it has by far the best drums sounds I've ever heard. It's also extremely easy to use and the pads are really, really sexy (velocity sensitive!). At a little more than half the price of the original Maschine, and with all the same functionality and software, this baby was a great deal.

Piano - Casio CDP-100 full length digital piano with weighted keys and all... not as good as my upright 'real' piano though. Digital pianos are never as good as the real thing!

Nice Gear. I think the oval mother of pearl inlays on the bass adds a nice touch.

Did you actually wear down the finish around those pickups from use, or is that just poor photo quality?

Here is my 100 dollar guitar that has about everything replaced. (Its a SX Rondo Strat copy) Just got some new GFS mean 90's in it and it sounds great. (to me at least) I really love the touch sensitivity of the pickups. Im playing through a small wattage singe channel tune amp so my clean and dirty channels have to be my volume knob. I just diddled around with some acdc and jimi i just learned to show the tone a cheap guitar and relatively cheap amp can get.




@garret: Did you make that? I have always wanted to make a cigar box guitar. Seen a few tutorials on youtube that could help. You got me thinking now!

I play piano and sax. I am also teaching myself guitar.

For guitar, I have an epiphone Sg. I run that through a BOSS RT20. From there, it runs into a Line 6 spider 4. With this amp, I've got everything I need. I keep the drive and equalizer controls at max position for the full effect. I turn the drive off when going for clean though. The rt20 helps me to get a better warble tone, since the line 6 chrorus effect was a bit subtle. I was slightly disappointed in this. The rt20 is a Leslie speaker simulator. It has four different settings. It is a twin pedal. The additional pedal is for the speed of the rotors. It also has overdrive, which is another reason I brought this pedal. Line 6 distortion is a bit muffled at times, so I keep the overdrive on the rt20 at maximum to keep it bright. Either chrorus, flange or phaser is a great combination with a clean signal running through the rt20 and amp

As far as a sax, I play a Conn into a special jazz mouthpiece and I use a ruggatti gold reeds.

For the piano, I play a used Shomer and Co upright

Which one? The bolt-neck or setneck? Epi makes both. The setneck is significantly nicer.

Hmm that Peavey is a Strat copy then. Though I know Peavey pretty well and don't know of a Fat Strat (Strat with a humbucker in the bridge) they've ever made.

The LP is a Les Paul Deluxe, or some variant thereof. It's got mini-humbuckers rather than the standard sized ones.

Shame he doesn't play the Casino. I just got one and they're great guitars.

What are the open notes of the 3-string? Are they in a guitar's range, or bass? Or something else?

The amp, that looks like a tiny speaker. 6"? 8"? Tell us more about the amp. Wattage output? Solid state or tube?

I hadn't bought one in a couple years, being broke due to health care costs. The Casino gift a month or so ago was a HUGE surprise that really floored me, especially since the donors knew I had a ludicrous amount of guitars already.

You need to take off those bigsbys and stick them on the teles.

But then there would be holes in the 2 Epi's and the Dano! I can't have that!

Nice colection but where is your strats. I see one strat and about 1 million teles and humbuckers. Although kudos on reppin the melody maker/lessy jr styles hard. I like that shecter with what looks like filtertrons.

I'm just not a Strat guy. LP's and Teles are better suited to what I do and what I want. The Strat works well for church, and would also work in my side roots rock band, but that band is extremely inactive of late (and possibly kaput).

The Schecter has P90's. It's a Tempest Special, basically a Les Paul Special (flat-top, mahogany, setneck) in the shape of a Tempest. I really like P-90's as you note. A buddy of mine lost a beauty singlecut Gibson LP Special in Spearmint Green to a local pawn awhile back (I was too broke to buy it from him), if I could sell that Schecter and a couple other pieces I'd buy his LP Special for safekeeping as it were. That way he could buy it back some day if he can get on his feet again, and meanwhile I can loan it back to him if he misses it too much.

Don't really have anything very close to Filtertons. The red Gretsch singlecut is an Electromatic Special Jet. It has US-made DeArmond pickups, which are kinda like Dynasonics on the cheap.

You should check out Rondo Music they have some odd but cool cheap guitars. My main axe is a strat with p90s that I upgraded a bit. They have tones of strange guitars and combonations of pckups.

The stock p90s from rondo are amazing. I love mine. The wood quality of the neck and body were great as well. I have long since replaced everything else though.

Was yours an SX, or Agile? My only experience is with Agile (MIK). I didn't have to replace anything. Reportedly the MIC SX's are considerably more spotty.

At any rate I don't have the Valkyrie SG any more, sold it to a friend of mine from Boston and he's been very happy with it. Sfaik it's still all stock.
