Sweet, if you guys have any renditions of you singing, you should post a link to show us.

I don't have anything on YouTube, but you can hear me singing on the track called "Sixth and Flower" here.

I have no illusions about having the greatest singing voice in the world, but there it is at any rate.

Hehe. Uhm.

I have one of my old band.

I'll put it up.

Or not, for some reason YouTube isn't working right now. -_-

I'll put it at soon as I can, then.

I have a pretty decent range, can hit the notes nicely but my voice doesn't have that "star" quality...which is why I don't sing my own songs. I've been trying to get a friend of mine to do it but she's shy, meh.

There is no such thing as a good range. A range is a range and what you can do is what you can do unless you practice enough to expand your current ability. The previous sentence has been brought to you by my high school choir teacher. Octave jumps will never be the same without him!

i dig it. as odd as it may sound your stuff reminds me of what i've heard from eric avery's solo work. mostly in the vocal delivery and lyrical style.

I've never checked my vocal range, but it's not in any way impressive. What I will say, is don't smoke or drink excessive amounts of alcohol, and learn how to take care of your voice. I used to have a pretty voice, now it's pretty ****ed up. Works for me though, I couldn't really care less.

I can sing fairly well. I think I'm pretty decent for somebody that has never recieved any lessons, training or anything. But I usually do alot of weird vocal things such as metal screams and growls, a variety of other weird sounds, low and raspy blues singer imitations, and beatboxing. None of it is amazing, but I'm proud of the fact that I at least sound like I'm on the path of eventually reaching a point where it sounds like my favorite vocalists such as Mike Patton.

I'm definately not sure of my vocal range though. I'm not really very knowledgeble on the names of different chords and notes, although I seem to have a good sense of it. I was thinking of getting more serious about vocals, possibly getting lessons, or joining choir class at school but I'm more interested in what crazy sounds I can make with my voice then singing.

Bass-Tenor

I usually prefer to sing in Bass or Baritone, because I can hit the notes more consistently than in Tenor.

Think of how Josh Turner and Johnny Cash sound, that's about where I like to sing at
