Don`t be discouraged dude. Everyone starts somewhere - start practicing your Blues scale and a few chords, you`ll soon be in business....
Lots of established players are very fussy with their gear and opinions - eventually you`ll be this way too. I`d recommend taking your guitar to a proper music shop, ask an assistant if they`ll "set it up" for you, (this means adjusting the bridge, pickup heights etc.) This should make it nicer to play. Change your strings reguarly, at least once a month and finally..... Buy a little valve amp, instead of that piece of sh!t practice ampit came with! Seriously, a little Fender Champion Amp, or some sort of cheapy VALVE amp will sound a hundred times better and you will practice with a smile. I`m also a fan of Vox Valvetronix, but they take a bit of fiddling. valve amps you just turn on and they sound good..... usually ![]() Welcome to the world of electric guitars dude!
