Point being, I play it all.
That being said, it would be nice if drummers would be able to experience different styles other than rock, like jazz, world music, etc, it helps them to be more exposed to new musical experiences and makes them more of a musician then if they sit at the back of a rock band making drowning noise.....

But drummers are musicians, even if their music is somewhat easier than other instruments, although this isn't always the case.
