in my opinion...
Linkin Park, Creed, Sum41, Blink 182, Good Charlotte, Avril Lavigne, Papa Roach, Slipknot, Korn, Metallica, Sublime, Weezer, Bloodhound Gang, MxPx, Jane's Addiction, Kottonmouth Kings, Disturbed, newer Green Day, AFI...

im not saying all these groups are talentless or that i hate them, i just think they are overrated.

i remember when i was 13 and listened to sum41... about 4 months ago i popped in the burned cd i had of them to humor myself... i was blown away how much puberty can change your taste in music... i never watch M.T.V. and i dont follow a lot of the bands that are on it... but one band that i hate with a fiery passion after hearing it on the radio is that evenescence(spelling?)... holy crap that womans voice can make my ear drums bleed in seconds.

nah, i really consider evanescence overrated...they may be talented, but they're not as "rock" as they attempt to be; plus amy calls herself (or just wants to appear as a) "goth"; i don't know many things about gothic rock, but i know evanescence aren't the best example of goth music at all (no offence)
