i mean me and my friends used to joke that everything sounded like nickelback only something. for example "coldplay sounds just like nickelback only british" or "children screaming sounds just like nickelback only better"

my point being that nickelback is obviously awful, so much so that they are even a novelty. i can't say they are overrated at all.

I would say you're correct and I would LOVE to think the general populace feels the same as we do... but what say you of those people you see wearing Nickelback shirts and, obviously buying their ****ty albums... I dare you to go their website and tell me there is no one on their message boards saying their last show was awesome...

I think Neil Young is overrated just because MirrorBall95 named his name after an album by him, sorry to target you out like this but you seem to be quite the troll :)

I named it after him because it is one of my most favourite albums of all time.
Neil Young doesnt need to be trolled, everybody knows who he is and knows he is great.
Also I would agree that Neil Young's 70s work is overrated, but his 80s- present (90s especially) is massively underrated. To me albums like 'Ragged Glory' & 'Sleeps With Angels' blow his 70s work into outer space.

Yeah its not exactly about Neil Young, it was a response to his 'Southern Man' song. If you listen closely (on Ipod or whatever) you can hear in the background they are playing Southern Man in the background. The media picked up on this and made out like they were total enemies, which in actual fact they werent, were good friends who respected each others music and were just having a laugh.

I didn't mean Sweet Home Alabama is about Neil Young, it was meant as an euphemism - like "What in Sam's Hill..."
