Motorhead - Aces of Spades

They were thrash metal before Metallica were.

Okay I've been proved wrong on that one, but the thrash metal genre does owe a lot to Metallica.

Of course, just like how Grunge owes a lot to Nirvana, regardless if they invented it or not.

Of course, credit to Nirvana. I was just arguing with what _LesPaul43_ posted:

The Rolling Stones. I'm sorry...legendary yes. But one of the best bands in the world? Technically? No way.

nirvana.
people go on about how they changed music. how???
they didn't invent anything new, their style was not ground breaking, plenty of bands play that kind of music.
i think if cobain wasn't attractive and he didn't die, nirvana would be thought about in a whole new light.

I agree totally There must always be something new. I find that you end up thinking where's that from? Or heard that before..But that's happening less and less now.
