Nirvana. Yes I Said it.. im sure i will catch a lot of hate but i really cant understand the hype and **** that surrounds Nirvana. There are dozens of better bands who never got the recognition they deserved, and then Nirvana, who, being total trash IMO, become such ''Icons''..

my chemical romance and slipknot are my votes.
a lot of ppl really seem to like slipknot, but from a musical standpoint, or lyrical for that matter, they arent very interesting or challenging. very base, dull uninspired music i think, from both groups

I dont understand it...

The sound isn't trash, but they ripped the Melvins so yeah I think they are a bit overrated.

if it werent for smells like teen spirit there would never have been such a hype, i saw an interview with them(my friend has the box set) and chris bitchs alot about how most theres fan dont even know aobut most there songs just the ones on nevermind and alot only know one song on there and beocme instant fans(smells like teen spirit) and it really annoyed him( kurt and the other guys too)

Pearl Jam is definitely the most overrated band. I admit they have a couple of good songs, but they are WAY overhyped. It's Alice in Chains all the way.

Motley Crue. Couldn't play a live show, they always ended up being a drunken Tommy Lee drum solo.

i hate that band so much

i thinks its more or less cuase most my friends have such a strong obbsesion wiht them thats its made so that i cant even hangout with most my friends casue its all they want to liscen to and im like no please change it i hate this band with a passion and then i start to hear aobut how my taste in music insent divers enough and that it sucks
