I just realised that I have been confusing the word "masochism" with "misogyny".
Anyway, I'm not at all suggesting that prog is sexist. Rush are just one band that came to mind, ELP are not the most politically correct band either, however I hate people who lash out against them because of it, especially when it's always people who listen to such tasteful and sophisticated bands as AC/DC and The Rolling Stones. Btw, if you loved those last links I put up. Here's another goodie. http://www.organart.demon.co.uk/intdamned.htm I always considered The Damned on par with The Sex Pistols in that they were totally talentless. But they never really bothered me until I realised just how much of an ignorant dumbass their guitarist is.
