Could you do one for Bright Eyes? I always wanted to get into it, but have no idea where to start, or what his best stuff is.

There will be a part two. Moondance became a hit in 1978 also, even though it is a song from a 1970 album. As for Brown eyed girl, I am not a fan really, it's right there with Hotel California and every popular BTO or ELO song, I can take it or leave it. Still it was his first hit and the song casual fans would know him for, so I thought I should include it in an intro, don't you?

Also what did you think of the order of my playlist? did you notice the crescendo of tempo\volume in tracks 1-7?

Default The Other White Elvis

Elvis Costello - A Great 8
Elvis Costello - A Great Eight.zip

If you have never listened to Elvis Costello well it's about damn time. Here are eight excellent songs that focus largely on his earlier (and greater I'd say) stuff. If you like this mix buy one of his first two albums, you'll be glad you did.

1. What's so Funny about Peace Love and Understanding
2. My Mood Swings
3. Less Then Zero
4. Oliver's Army
5. Blame it on Cain (Honky Tonk Alternate)
6. Radio Radio
7. The Other Side of Summer
8. Watching the Detectives

I liked the compilation. He has one of the most natural sounding voices around. It all sounds so easy to him. Do you like Joe Cócker? Although hes more known for his covers. I just love his voice.
