Wow I'm surprised so many people are taking that stance. I personally liked it quite a bit...

why is it that Tool are often grouped together with NIN? musically they have nothing in common, only particular common ground is the lamea$s hackneyed lyrical content.

I thought 10,000 Days was a good album really, although it doesn't sound like it should have taken so long to write. There's lots of filler, but the actual full-on music is decent, at least. However, I'd say it's by far their least creative album. It sounds like an afraid, small step away from Lateralus, with less song and more filler.

agreed. i'm sorry i put them in the same category. i think they are lumped in there due to the fact that all kids who enjoyed tool enjoyed NIN. and mostly it was just me wanting to talk about two bands that were good but one easily grows out of and who's last album blew something terrible!

Year Zero is easily Reznor's best album since The Downward Spiral. And now that he has no ties to record labels, he's going to go full force on his next releases.

i admire your optimism.

year zero was marginally just about alright. no fireworks or nothing. i'm amazed that anybody was able to force themselves to love it so much.

Well, it's now conclusive. Rainard Jalen is the ****ing worst person ever.
Haha... Ya all I hear out of RainardJalen is negativity, and its pretty damn annoying.

Instead of constantly hating on artists why not do something useful with yourself and recommend music and share bands that you find interesting etc. etc.
