He's either just really stupid / ignorant / undereducated

a desperate attention seeker.

Cursory empirical research makes this obvious and I don't care enough to make a hypothesis. Of course none of those traits alone are worthy of a ban. He'll either go away or not.

I probably shouldn't have even written this because he'll inevitably respond.

The best approach I can think of is to ignore his response to this post and also ignore any other post he makes. I'll do that and I advise you to do the same, Il Duce. It looks like he's got you baited more than anyone.

I still don't understand all the hate for The Virgin. I find that he brings some much needed levity to the boards. His musical opinions and tastes may not be as evolved as other peoples', but he still stands behind them, which is respectable.
