I banned him for 7 days. He has been trolling, spamming, and some racism. We had multiple complaints from members about his behaviour/comments.

Do they get a notice about how long they're banned for? How does that work?

If he creates more accounts, he can log in with them. But we are able to trace that IP (as it would be the same for every account) and ban it, if that's what it comes down to.

i am so hoping that it's not because of me because of some video he made of me. i don't like the feeling of being a cause on someone's ban. i'm thinking he might have posted something racist or what.

And making silly videos making fun of each other is nothing new. I don't think he would get banned for that considering a lot of us do it. There's a whole thread of them, actually. Did you report him for it?

Not sure if you're addressing me, but since I was the last to post, I guess I'll comment. No one is really complaining about the reason that Dirty got banned, as none of us know any specifics. It seems more like a general disappointment that he will be gone for a month, regardless of the reason. And my post wasn't meant as an insult or disagreement, as it had nothing to do with Dirty's ban. Just pointing out that there are other ban-worthy posts floating out there besides Dirty's (just in case the mods were in a banning mood or something).

I already took care of those posts.
I'm rather reluctant to ban anyone over them, though. It's not really something that happens constantly, and I'd prefer that people get the hint without actually needing to have them punished.

Ban seems pretty in the right. A month though? that seems harsh. Im guessing a month ban = not returning to the forum, which is to bad because other than this he was a pretty good poster.

He was in the IRC channel today trying to make out that he was ****ing awesome and that Paloma "Must have reported him because of butthurt" or something like that, making out that he was so awesome because he'd trolled everyone by pretending to be Pedestrian and listening to the chat bitch about him for like an hour, then saying "Ima go on cam now" and just presenting the chatroom with a vision of his pale white bumcheeks.

He's not going anywhere just because of some month ban, but I really doubt he's going to change his behaviour either. I can foresee another drawn out culmination-of-many-things banning, based on how he seems to just be of the opinion the mods can't touch him in a way that matters. Maybe they can't, but giving him more chances with an attitude like that is gonna have to be a shortlived thing unless the mods want another boo boo style backlash.
