That does happen quite frequently. I will say that I think it has less to do with being a mod, and more to do with being an experienced poster in a forum setting. Those two just coincidentally go hand-in-hand most of the time.

When you've been around these forums long enough, some people just learn to let people insult themselves, and in turn, let them dig their own grave. The art of subtle provocation.

Entrapment? Oojay accused me of doing something that I hadn't done. Am I not allowed to defend myself? Talk about a double standard, sheesh.

Edit: Also, by your own logic wouldn't the post I'm replying to here also be a violation of the rules?

El Duce, I only respond to you the moment you quote me or address me in any of your posts, just like this one.
If you try to trace back all conversations that we have, it's always me responding to you, not the other way around.

my understanding of entrapment in the current discussion is when you try to provoke someone into doing anything that is totally against the rules. in fact, between the 2 of us, you're the one who'se doing entrapment of me. posting insults and negative comments against me so i'd lose my patience and do something that against the forum rules.
