Not working for me either.

I have flash disabled so all I see is a box.... (It bogs down my browser so I just view the vids directly if I want to)

What kind of phone and what browser?

I also no longer see them. At first I thought it was because I was in the Steam in-game browser, which has some problems to it, but then I opened up Firefox like normal and yeah, they're all gone. What the f. lol

Since this morning, I haven't been seeing them either. I'm on Firefox (can confirm the problem happened both before and after the newest update). I've got Adblock, but no other plugin I can imagine interfering with anything. I'm on a Windows 7 PC.

Android. I should specify i can see the YT player but it runs on the YT app.

Most people can't see them, including me. So far Black Francis is the only person who can see them so I'm curious what he (or anyone else who can see them) is using to view the site.

What browser app are you using?

I've got a couple other browsers installed already, so I checked in those as well:

Chrome is the same as Firefox. Embedded videos simply aren't there.

Internet Explorer shows a white rectangle the size of an embedded video, but no content, no clickable areas, no link string appearing when hovering cursor over. Just a blank rectangle.

Chrome i think. That's the only one in my apps.

I'm using Chrome on Android. I can't see YouTube vids either. I was able to literally this morning.

Add me to the list of those who can't see them. Chrome on a Windows 7 64-bit PC. Anyone any clue what's going on? Are Google about to annexe our little forum? Should we evacuate before the tanks roll in across the border?

Doesn't work for Safari on my iPhone or Firefox which I just updated hoping to fix the problem.. its a dark day for MB :(

Didn't the admin log on earlier? Maybe they done goofed while they were updating stuff.

Or maybe they don’t want videos embedded.

I hope all the work we’ve done including music clips in our journals and discussions hasn’t been destroyed

That's why I always put the artist - song above my youtube videos..

I noticed that earlier checking through threads to see if the problem was fixed yet. Smart thinking there.

I've usually put artist name/track name over videos too, but more for the event that a video is taken off youtube. It's still a problem for general music sharing here, as it's going to be harder to get people to check something out if there's no embed, I'd guess.

Still, let's see if it doesn't come back.

If it didn't, then I'm not gonna lie. I would feel like it completely destroys my journal. I'll have to find another way of doing it then.

Yes, it's very worrying because embedded video clips are such a fundamental part of the MB experience. It'll be sad if we have to resort to the kind of link TH has just posted. Let's face it, we are all less inclined to explore links in that form. :(

For myself, I also see a white box if I'm using Google Chrome, but luckily, if I use Internet Explorer, I get a dialogue box popping up that says, "Is this site safe? Show all content?" When I click "Yes" I at least get to see the vids, but as I have to do it for almost every page, it's a little tedious.

So, yeah, TH's question: Has anyone told Yac about it?

Yes im on IE6 and I see the same BUT I HAVE FLASH DISABLED WHICH IS WHY.......

Alot of these embedded flash things really bog down my browser sometimes so I have it disabled unless I wanna watch the video........
