Sigur Ros is one of my favorite groups, and though I've seen people say they're not quite post-rock, they definatley have elements of it in their work. The only post-rock bands I've really heard are Mogwai, Explosions in the Sky, Godspeed and Do Make Say Think. I'm actually very glad I found this thread because it gives me a whole lot of artists that would probably interest me. As a musician myself too, listening to new material helps my own work.
