Thumbs down Country Rap.

I like a lot of the traditional country artist like Merle Haggard, George Jones, Hank Williams Jr. and a number of other artist as well.

A few of the more recent country artist I like include Zac Brown, Billy Currington, Jason Aldean..

But there is a recent style of country that I just cant relate to at all.
Country Rap..and it just sounds "awful" to me personally.. (Geesh!)

Has country rap gain popularity? It was always good for a laugh every now and then.

I think its kinda popular on the country radio stations DJ. It is just absolutely awful music.

Nothing worse than a white dude with a country accent trying to rap country style..

I don't like country, but I really like Johnny Cash. I haven't given country much of a chance beyond that and I don't know if I want to...

I haven't heard any of IIIs music yet, is it "Outlaw" country like his dad, Jamey Johnson, and Shooter Jennings?

You might like adult/contemporary country ET.

If you don't like anything by Rascal Flatts or Zac Brown, then you more than likely, wouldn't like any of it.

it's more like "punk" country - a lot more raucous and ruder than outlaw, and heckuva lot more drugs

it doesn't even have to be a white dude doing it though

Exhibit A.

I do like to think these two count as country rap done well though

I think of Colt Ford more as Country Rap instead of the above posted. Those are straight rap imo besides maybe the first.

Colt Ford just brings a different tone and tempo to Country music
