No he was saying that given everything and only everything provided in the thread it's reasonable that this joke might have been innocent because, A. this woman does kinda look like a Planet of the Apes ape, and B. this woman looks so not black that she has probably gotten white privileges.

It can definitely be both, but that is the distinction I've been making the entire thread. I've haven't argued once that Roseanne is not racist, as I've already admitted I know **** all about her.
