Luckily my job is really good about injuries especially if they are work related. They don't really treat workers like ****, but we're still paid ****. I know that my supervisors are constantly pulling to give people raises especially the ones who put in the extra effort. It's hard to really hold anything against a smaller business because I don't know if they're just trying to save money or they just don't want to share the money.

Sodexo was the devil, though. They are greedy scam artists that pull the shadiest ****. I know I've said it before, but they would charge $30 for a pitcher of crystal light and call it fruit punch.

Lucem, you're right, it's silly to talk about what I would or wouldn't do IRL. Glad you brought it up. Maybe you should write an instrumental about it. I recommend a piano paired with a clarinet. With ambient sounds of you hanging from your shower curtain you ****ing failure.

Art Is Dead. Buy My ****.

Okay, not making judgements of doctors is strawmanning doctors. What's the other part?

Wouldn't "strawmanning doctors" have to involve misrepresenting arguments made by doctors in order to make said arguments easier to defeat?

He set the medical profession up as an opponent, assuming their position might be to not help others in need. This is not how doctors act, but it was a ridiculous position that was easily attacked and knocked down.

When did I do this? I think you just jumped on "public servants" and when I made it clear I wasn't talking about government officials you just jumped to something else cause otherwise you'd have nothing to bitch about. Maybe you're just strung out having to deal with your middle-aged pregnant wife and her beef curtains.

I think I misunderstood what a strawman argument means. I got the gist, but I misapplied how its used.

Your ad hominem, however, is clear.

The ****tiest revelation is when you find out you work twice as hard as people that get paid much much more than you.

You know the stupid stereotypical stories you get from delusional parents that tell you they used to walk 3 miles home from a job or some **** to afford their house or their new car? That's me except I still can't afford a car or even an apartment. And my insurance is trash. Most people with my conditions could hardly even hold a job and I've had to with no treatment or care for it just to struggle to get by.

I don't understand why the same people that shove the "life isn't fair" **** down your throat are the same ones that believe you get what you earn. You don't. You get taken advantage of because there is nothing you can do about it.
^ I'm sorry to hear that, Lucem; it must be a lousy position to be in. I'm not sure if it would be consoling or depressing to read Nickel and Dimed. Have you heard of it? A journalist tries out some low status jobs, like office cleaner, and also explains the traps that low-wage earners fall into in the US.
