Not even denying I'm a pussy, but the commotion of some scumbag slapping one of my people while I'm standing there miserable hating every second of the day could be just the thing to destroy my cool and make me an irrational crazy person. And then I would just be a psycho who wanted to hurl boiling grease at a representation of my day to day misery.
