That's because you're thinking of the human experience as something separate from nature when it's not. Isn't the meme that you don't even like art anyway

I think it says a lot about you that you can't look at anything unless it's a human's transformed version of it.

And humans and their thoughts are a relatively infinitesimal part of that. We just can't imagine all that we can't imagine so all that we can imagine gets an unfair amount of coverage. I think it's immensely unfair that I'll never get to see all the insane **** that will happen in the future, and I also think it's immensely unfair that I'll never get to see all the insane **** that happened before I was born. I mean if you told me that I'd get to see a Tyrannosaurus Rex but it would then eat me, there's a part of me that would find that hard to turn down. Sure it would be an unpleasant end but the reward might very well be more magic than I'd ever or would ever experience just in those few seconds.

Hmm, maybe if I got to see it eat something else first.

Being bored just means that you're boring.

Cuts both ways. The more I learn about my fellow man the more pedestrian they seem. But the highlights are still magic. And this is true for the universe in general. Including trees.

If that wasn't part of the deal I'd be pretty pissed. Like, magical dealing-making entity, can't you sweeten this a bit? At least the lawyer from Jurassic Park got to see the thing eat a goat. But even if I turned the deal down I'd always remember that I had the chance and didn't take it.

Generally speaking, two things can be interesting at the same time.

Aren't you like 5+ years too old for this philosophy 101 ****?

There's no way that your cheesy angst over the incredibly common experience of being burned in a toxic relationship is more interesting than aurora borealis.
