Are we agreed those cops are getting off? Like they probably won't be reinstated (I stand open to being wrong on even that) but they'll still get off on a reasonable doubt cause juries are suckers for seeing cops as being in a warzone where any level of brutality is excusable so long as it's possible that the victim could have eaten a can of spinach and murdered them if they so much as relaxed for a second. At best they'll get five years with four on probation or something.

100%. Maaaaaaybe the actual murderer will get a kushy sentence/early retirement. The other three will go on to work in another county.

I was released from Jury Duty for saying I disagreed with the statement "cops are honest people." lol

What got me out was telling them that standalone testimony is an unreliable form of evidence unless it's supported by other forms of evidence.
