I was thinking that, too. Or maybe a more radical variation on the black panthers something like you kill one of ours we kill five of yours. Or target their families. They’d lose public sympathy though. It’s hard to know what it would take to make it stop.

Consider the legal argument since the moral end is so played out: Death by firing squad for evading police would be absurd compared to the fines and couple years of jail time that they can charge you with when caught. This is another non-anomalous cruel and unusual execution with no due process.
