That's definitely true. And sexist too of course, but in my experience the sexism thing is improving much faster than the racism. Studying anything STEM is still a white sausagefest.
It's partly managing to make even math subjective by teaching it badly for the reasons you mentioned, but I also think part of the problem is that there's a huge stigma around those subjects, so many people don't even consider it.

This is a fact.

Same parental wealth and income. Same testing markers for aptitude. Same grades.

White kid tells the counselor “I’m thinking of going to college to study biology” counselor says great idea.

Black kid does the same thing and it’s “Maybe you’d be better off learning a trade”

I don’t know **** about Europe but in America it’s the same ****ing thing with brokerage firms and that entire culture on Wall Street. They even prefer to hire a white dude who played Lacrosse in college over a white guy who played football because Lacrosse is whiter.



People might not believe me but it is like that.

But what kills me is they’re twice as exclusionary as a typical white farmer in Alabama. They’ll hire any mother****er that can do the work. But people hate on the rural white southerner. People who don’t know **** about it.

If the story involves a black victim and a white/white-passing perpetrator, the race is the headline and the story is national news. If the perpetrator is black and the victim is white/white-passing, the race is not mentioned and the story makes local news at best.

Didn't always used to be this way (e.g. Central Park 5), but that's how it has been for a while.
