Google sets up feedback loop in its image recognition neural network - which looks for patterns in pictures - creating hallucinatory images of animals, buildings and landscapes which veer from beautiful to terrifying

You truly are delusional.

Great news BTW!

I'm not delusional, I'm strategically naive.

I am excited by this. I wasn't a huge fan of his last two films, but if it's anywhere even remotely close to the genius that is Brazil, I'm sure I'm going to love it. Don Quixote is such a looney story that I can only see Gilliam tackling this. It's his perfect project.

It's almost like Cervantes wrote the novel specifically for Gilliam (would have been cool to see Jodorowsky try it out though).

I'm just worried that he's past his prime.

Perhaps this is a bit late but...

Crazy Scottish Mother****er Plays Bagpipes Up and Down the Beach on D-Day

Quote:
Once ashore Millin did not run, but walked up and down the beach, blasting out a series of tunes. After "Hieland Laddie", Lovat, the commander of 1st Special Service Brigade (1 SSB), raised his voice above the crackle of gunfire and the crump of mortar, and asked for another. Millin strode up and down the water’s edge playing "The Road to the Isles".

Bodies of the fallen were drifting to and fro in the surf. Soldiers were trying to dig in and, when they heard the pipes, many of them waved and cheered — although one came up to Millin and called him a “mad bastard”.
Quote:
Millin was surprised not to have been shot, and he mentioned this to some Germans who had been taken prisoner.

They said that they had not shot at him because they thought he had gone off his head.

I will never make fun of bagpipers again. Cause they'll probably eat my head.
