^ Yep, must be a vast amount of damage, with the roof completely destroyed. Here's how it used to look:-

Notre Dame, Paris, was started in 1163 and encloses a huge high space with its cutting edge technology and elegant design. They spent 200 years on the building of it, but still didn't put the spires on the front. This is typical of the bl**dy French, who can't finish anything unless the Brits are helping them. ;)

Did you see the footage as the dark spire in the middle collapsed? Very sad indeed.

Alright lads, 3 more black metal jokes before we reach capacity. Make them count.

The Batlord 04-15-2019 04:15 PM

For real though Varg does live in France now.

Lisnaholic 04-15-2019 04:44 PM

Kind of ironically, the BBC posted a short feature about repair costs of the Notre Dame just ten days before the fire:-

BBC - Travel - The massive cost of saving Notre-Dame

This'll teach Christians to hold up their lighters when the priest gets to the crucifixion.

Oh **** they're still doing crucifixictions? I might have to start going to church.

Lucem Ferre 04-16-2019 11:14 AM

Black metal is just jealous that they don't have awesome looking cathedrals.

OccultHawk 04-16-2019 11:16 AM

I hope they do something really cool with the rebuilding

Maybe drop all that Jesus stuff lol

The Batlord 04-16-2019 12:51 PM

I hope the Scientologists buy it out.

^ Apparently, they are targeting heretics, avant-garde musicians and people who can't spell the word "crucifixion." :D

^ HaHa! I'd like to see it with a glass roof - and put some spires on the front towers, which look like two unfinished stumps anyway.

Men With Beards Have More Germs Than Dogs: Study

Turns out all the bearded bros showed high microbial counts, compared with only 23 out of 30 dogs. In fact, seven of the men had so much beard bacteria they were at risk of getting sick, according to the BBC.

Men Without Beards Are Gay Says Experts

Cuthbert 04-17-2019 12:44 PM

Why would beards be any germier than scalps and head hair? Also what are these bearded guys from the study like? If they just can't be bothered to take care of themselves then that's different to the guys who are oiling, balming, washing and blow drying regularly. I would expect such men to have germier faces but they would have germier fingernails and hands (which they then rub through their beards?) bellends and mouths as well (bet they don't floss).

I'm not sure about this to be honest.

Keep on bearding I say.

I'd venture a guess and say because we touch our faces more. As a dirty bearded man, I touch my face/beard a lot.

I've heard that before and I don't see why you'd touch your face more than your head. I don't touch mine other than when I wash or use balm because I don't want to mess it up or pull hairs out.

Sounds like a dirty hands thing tbh.

Why would you grow a beard if you're not going to touch it? That's like having a dick that never nuts.

This is the same system I use at work when we model stuff for the engineers. Pretty cool to see it being used for Notre Dame:

Just on paper as far as I know.

Unless it’s on film it’s worthless

I doubt it’s even true tbh

TBH Trump has done a great job throughout his life of making the idea of him admitting weakness even in private seem unbelievable. It seems like it should be an irrational belief but the idea of Trump is such that you can't even picture him as a real human being. All you can imagine is the image.
