Just seeing the usual stuff online

- Terrorism has no religion
- There are 1.6 billion Muslims
- These are not REAL Muslims
- Something about white people and mental illness
- There will be a backlash against Muslims

Well, that's because most religion is illiberal. Islam as written is authoritarian, regressive, and hierarchical. As practiced, much less so. I break ranks with many of my DC liberal friends in agreeing that Islam has more issues with classic liberalism than, say Christianity or Judaism, but from person to person, the differences are negligible.

I go through a similar thought process when walking past the homeless in the park on my way to work. I've actually stopped smoking on my walk home because I'm so tired of telling 20 people, 'no I do not have a cigarette for you. No I don't have $5 dollars. Or $1. I have no dollars (I legit don't carry cash these days). No I will not walk into 7/11 and buy you a soda. Leave me alone'

Very glad my internal thoughts aren't broadcasted for the world to hear.
