cause obviously they only fired her because she was black. if it was a white person and they went on a racist tirade on social media they would be fine.

He might have the same opinion if a white did it tbh. I'm genuinely interested in why.

Surprised L'Oreal actually sacked her so quickly.

She's a ****ing model not a politician. She hates white people or thinks we're all racist (she's right) who ****ing cares. The only thing that bothers me is some **** company fired someone for voicing their opinion. I don't give a **** about her opinion but I do care that she lost her livelihood for expressing it.

so should that police officer who joked about only killing black people keep his job too?

not equating what they said but when you represent any sort of organization it is within their rights to let you go if you aren't able to understand what is it isn't acceptable to put out there.

It is a pretty hilarious thing for a cop to say in that situation...

First off, I'd just like to point out that we have now reached page 666!

Secondly, what the ****? She was fired for claiming all white people are racists. Whether this is what she believes or not, she has a duty to represent her employer and live up to a certain standard so she shouldn't be doing these things. A bit quick to fire her, yes, bit knee-jerk. However the headline is totally disingenuous and misleading. She was NOT fired for being a transgender, as it seems to claim, but for posting racist comments. Would the story have garnered quite so much interest if it had read "Black woman/person fired by L'Oreal for going on racist rant"? No, they chose to focus on an area of the story which they believed would pull at people's heartstrings and incite outrage, for completely the wrong reasons.

No. That's more knee-jerk reaction. If she had been a white person fired for making racist black comments, would you feel the same? I genuinely don't know; I'm not assuming anything here. I am asking.

I didn't even clock the headline (the 'story' is in several publications so I don't think this has anything to do with it), the reaction to this I've seen on Twatter hasn't mentioned the trans thing, people are just upset because she's "speaking out against racism", and has been sacked for it.

#IStandWithMunroe on Twitter if you want to see for yourself.

"L'Oreal supports diversity and tolerance towards all people irrespective of their race, background, gender and religion.

"The L'Oreal Paris True Match campaign is a representation of these values and we are proud of the diversity of the ambassadors who represent this campaign.

"We believe that the recent comments by Munroe Bergdorf are at odds with those values, and as such we have taken the decision to end the partnership with her."
Seriously, can't fault L'Oreal one bit. You simply don't bite the hand that feeds you.
