Yeah I know I remember reading something somewhere a while ago that actually came from a Texan politician's mouth about how there are different kinds of rape, such as "wanted rape," where the girl claims she was raped but actually wanted it. I can't remember the specifics now, but I feel you're right. Something about different degrees of rape, which I'm sure included something along the lines of almost justifiable rape.

Yes that's right! He had a list of different "degrees" of rape so that rape, in some instances, could be justified. Just sickening.

I'm especially hard on Texas because I was born there. I just really disagree with most of the things they do politically.

It may be the case that most of the children with names such as the ones she mentioned tend to come from working class families. I don't know, I haven't done any research, but I just have a feeling that statistics would support that. It is possible that you may be able to attach certain names to a social class.

However, why on Earth would anyone limit their child in such a way that they werent allowed to socialise with certain kids of a lower class, based completely on their name and name alone? What made me laugh is that she even admits she does that! She openly admits that she limits her children and she sees nothing wrong with this. That is, of course, also very, very sad. Especially for the kid.

What did make me laugh, so much, was that she is banging on and on about not approving of certain types of names, such as footballers, celebrities, and geographical locations. And then you find out that one of her own children is called India. Absolutely priceless.

I actually had the same experience, I was crushing on a Brazilian transfer at high school, had Asian and Egyptian friends. When I got to University and lived in a hall of residence with 162 people I was overwhelmed with wonderful people who were of different race and cultures, it was fantastic! I remember doing the 40 hour famine with a Korean guy who was spending 40 hours on a mattress in the lift. I joined him to do 40 hours of not talking! That was tough but we ended up hooking up between people using the lift hahaha.
